  1. What is TeamSpeak TeamSpeak is a proprietary Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) application for audio communication between users on a chat channel, much like a telephone conference call. Users typically use a microphone enabled headset. The client software connects to a TeamSpeak server of the user's choice, from which the user may join voice channels. The TeamSpeak UUID identity hash key typically consists of 28 characters Do not share this code with anyone, except with our forum of course From the menu bar, click Tools Then click Identities Click on Create Give the Identity a name Default or Your nickname are great choices Your Nickname, what should other's call you Click on "Go Advanced" Copy the Unique ID aka TeamSpeak UUID to your clipboard [Ctrl]+C This will be needed later in this guide Click "OK" Add the Server to your Bookmarks Creating a bookmark will allow you to connect without entering in the information each time. Click button Add Bookmark Bookmark Name: United We Stand Nickname: Your Forum Name or Character Name Server Address: ts.uwsgaming.com Click on Go Advance Enable Connect on Startup This will not start the program on Windows startup. Only when the program starts up. Click OK Configure your Capture Device Sometimes it may be necessary to force select your capture device. Click on Capture (on the left) Select your capture device Typically your headset Set Push-To-Talk [PTT] Configure your Hot Key Click Begin Test to see if you can hear yourself Enable Echo cancellation Click OK Sync your TeamSpeak UUID to your Forum Account This is used to identify you each time you connect and will sync your member permissions and awards to TeamSpeak.
