Talented or not in this thread post ANYTHING  you like to do in your spare time (do I need to say PG13ish? LOL) when not killing the opposition, running others into the rails, or burning your eyeballs out from a late night raid POST IT!!, and hey if you make something in game that your proud of, POST IT!  It can either be an in process project or one that you have completed today or 20 or more years ago. If (e-hem) YOU  made it, POST IT!!! If someone else made it tell them to join UWS and POST IT!!!

Don't forget to follow to be updated on different projects.

That one is on Yupo, which acts REALLY weird with most anything put onto it. More so when you start combining mediums and extenders.

I would guess it's because it's made from polypropylene into which the chemicals try to resist paint. Fun fact, polypropylene is a thermal plastic, I have a welder that can weld it and have welded water tanks for the fire department in their trucks.

That shelf/rack is pretty darn nifty! Have you ever gotten to play with a glowforge?

Also, I've been playing with digital art a bit too as well lately, mandalas/fractals/just having fun.

That is what almost 20 years of neglect does to that paint job.

I made this with a friend of mine over the last month.  Now I just have to learn how to play it.

Needed a new incense burner so this was my evening...

Empty wine bottle, diamond drill bit, key ring, incense stick, some spray paint cans and a bucket of warm water... the keyring holds the incense stick, the bottle collects all the ash and the hole near the bottom allows air to move thru the bottle.

This technic is called 'Hydro Dripping', you spray oil based spray can onto the surface of the water, then once you have a pattern you like on the water, you very slowly drip something into the water at an angel, the paint will stick to the item... oil and water don't mix 😉

Note to self... next time... WEAR GLOVES!!!  🤣

I love this so much Serro! I cannot wait to see what else you make! And yes gloves. Hahaha, the dish washing ones work GREAT for this because they are longer. I did hydrodipping on some canvases when playing

RIVER COFFEE TABLE PROJECT

Black Walnut top, 6" x 1" solid oak outside frame and drawer fronts, 2.5" x 1" select pine for drawers and inside framing, 16" x 4" x 4" Para Hardwood for the legs Alexa enabled, Govee WiFi APP Control, Smart LED Strip Lights, 3000 mAh rechargeable 12v battery for the LED's,  ball bearing soft close slides on the drawers.

IMG_2007_(1).thumb.jpg.2e941ee4cffb73214e81b2fce011b3dd.jpgOkay, my first river table (coffee table). This is after the second seal coat. The river is transparent some so I think I will put LED's under it once I figure out what type of base I will make for it.

 Decided on a coffee table for my Mother. ... (edit)  too big she doesn't want to give up the room for it, For Sale. Heh

Coffee Table.jpg I added LED's under the top for fun. I tried to post a video to show it reacting to music but I guess I can't post Video here. It's almost done, a final flood coat of epoxy then the top coat that is harder than the epoxy. SCC has a video were they wear down a penny by rubbing it on the surface with no damage, so guess it works. lol

@Drizzit1aa how much?

@CA8OOS3Not including shipping it's $1200. Would have been $1600 but I made mistakes, 1) I set my router too deep and ended up planning off about $300 Black Walnut off the top flattening it, 2) 22 if you look close at where the right drawer closes you can see where I had to add a piece from cutting the hole too big. It isn't very noticeable unless you know it's there but I am a perfectionist, if I had a job I wouldn't sell it like this but, meh. I would fix it but I am broke. With all the hurricane damage in the US wood prices are out of control. I am just starting a Facebook Business page, it's still under construction FYI.
