Cinebench R20 has been released so let's have some fun!  This update to Cinebench takes advantage of newer CPU strenghts like updated instruction sets etc...

I will keep an updated ranking for some fun competition. I would ask that posters use this format: USERNAME / CPU / COOLING / SCORE and I will update the OP to reflect your position in the rankings.

You can download this benchmark directly here: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/maxon-cinebench/ so no need for the MS store.

Don't forget to post a screenshot w/ your results!

Very first Crack at it

Im at a 4.5 GHz overclock on my 8700k and thats just because I don't want to run high forever and Im not sure my VRMs can handle it...anywho here is my score. I will keep posting to see how high i can get without custom loop.

You're overclock isn't set right if your score is that low for an 8700k.  What is your AVX offset at and are you hitting your thermal limits because it seems like you're getting throttled as well.  I'm guessing that if your AVX was set to 0 and you went to 5GHz your score would actually improve by a large amount.

Well here is another AMD machine, though with half the cores and only dual channel RAM...

Not bad for a 2 year old CPU.  Can't wait for Ryzen's third gen chips this summer!  ThreadRipper core count at 8700K OC speeds, hell yeah!
