i know i know what you saw in E3 maybe a little less worse case is what we are getting

You've got to take stuff like an E3 demo with a grain of salt as well though. They can control how much stuff if spawning, they'll have the absolute best and most powerful machines they can get their hands on regardless of price, and everything is as perfect as they can make it before the big stage. So, I don't really look at E3 "downgrades" as all that disappointing in the long run so long as the game looks great. I've got a buddy that cries about crap like that all the time but he's still sitting at 1080p with a gtx 970. I'd understand complaining a bit more if you've got a delidded 8700k with sli 1080ti's but when you really sit down, and think about it. E3 demos and reveals are NOT final product so expect changes. Did Siege and The Division 1 get downgraded a bit from their E3 reveals and demos? Yeah absolutely, but I wouldn't really know as I never had the highest hardware to push the games to their max regardless.

I know  siege  Gor a downgrade for sure along with the division however I don’t remember if they had a playable demo. Normally when they have playable demos you get what you get. They have had the same demo for  multiple  Events so I feel  pretty confident On their product. As far as   Optimization  The engine they use personally isn’t te Best. I messed around wirh some settings and I’m gettinr about 130 FPS on a 8700k with a 1080 ti water cooled. Compared to destiny which I’m gettinr mostly 165fps stable with most setting maxes out at 2k

Just watched a new gameplay of it and started to hype for it. Loved the first game, still logging sometimes but still thinking if I should take it easy on the pre-order or let the hype take over and get it.

@AvastYeScurvyDog Seriously! I watched a bit of Marco and Drewski and what I saw was pretty kickass. You should also look up the Ubisoft North America youtube page and check out the D2 videos they have put up in the last few days. They go super in-depth on the dark zones, where they are, how they are "balanced", how you can get to the "hardcore" version, and LOADS of other info that I hadn't heard yet. Honestly, I was going to pass on pre-ordering and what at least a few months before picking up the game but these couple of video just kicked my hype train into overdrive.

@Joehockey Macro's newest 2 video made me hype again. Tho I need to control myself a bit. Had to buy a new phone this month because old one died and already spent some money on model kits. I should save up first.

I've come to the realization this game will never be what it promised to be. That saddens me, as D1 original open world PvPvE concept was what I really wanted. Instead, we got a game that switched development hands, areas closed off and a half assed messed that took like a year and half to get into a good improved state.

D2 segregation again of PvE and PvP saddens me, but it looks like they're really attempting to improve how combat feels as well as improve on the PvE, vs. PvP vs. Hardcore Pvp. Add on some team mode like PvP matches and I can see a well rounded enjoyable game for what they're trying to do.

I had always hoped they would develop a PvP mode that would allow player clans/groups to take over an area. In which you would get some benefit for holding areas. Then, other groups/clans could initiate a sort of attack on it. Such are dreams.

What's interesting is that this IS in the game, but in PvE.  I can't imagine it being too much of an effort to port it over to the PvP side of the house.

I am like you though, TCTD1 was a flop at release but became my go-to game after a year of improvements.  Destiny 2 was like that as well, poor execution at launch but eventually it became a decent game.  I expect the same from TCTD2.  I took part in the first alpha test in December.  Not bad for an alpha, but PvP is either going to make or break the game for so many people...

I am curious how many people have already pre-ordered the game and if so what version they purchased?

Won’t happen you will close a huge market sadly. Most players picking up the game are casual gamers and thatswere they get most of the sales. They made the dz even more casual friendly. I don’t agree with it but I see the  Method behind the madness. Personally I loved grieving , and trolling 4 man squad  to a whole server at times in the dZ. I know people who hate pvp so forcing them to be in a PvP  environment  Isn’t fair. They said they will do both PVP and PVE balancing so i am hoping the cater to the hardcore base
