The hacking is getting a bit strong

I hope Battle State starts swing the ban hammer soon. I'm seeing numerous times now where people speed hack, and have ESP, killing with 1 hit. It's starting to remind me of "The division". they will start losing players if they don't act faster. The latest one "Pr0t3in1" I was completely hidden in a ravine laying in ambush for awhile and was totally silent. I then start to here USEC taunts and looking around there is no one there. then I died in one shot. After looking up his name I see others have had problems with him to.

here is a youtube clip someone posted of him speed hacking

Yeah it's nothing new. For some reason BSG is so adamant about their own unfinished anticheat and refuses to switch to something like BattlEye or even accept reports with well documented hacking cases like this. Klean recently started accepting proof cases but I think he stopped after a day too.

This game has a ton of issues right now I'm just going in with a 30k loadout. Helmets? Useless. Armor? Doesn't help vs scavs when they hit that juicy face hitbox, great vs players though, but when those players are chasing you around with god mode, well then that's why i bring that 30k loadout. I enjoy the game but a lot of stuff needs to be fixed in the next coming months.

It sucks, no question. I wouldn't give up hope until the game actually drops and we see the finished product and measures in place. Could have something in-house + another existing program by the time it comes out. Unfortunately it is still in the development process so there won't be most likely any immediate relief as I'm sure most efforts are being put into development on the actual game. On a positive note, nothing is permanent on our characters as we all know, so although frustrating right now, at least it's not post release where there's real attachment.

It's going to be a never ending struggle to contentiously update and handle cheaters, because these little shits creating them will always be updating them and finding new workarounds. You can only hope that there are measures in place to make them constantly have to update these hacks and swift consistent detecting and banning occurring as to stop them from having an impact on the player base and market.

Time will tell how that works post launch. Fingers crossed.

I don't play as often as some others but I've seen maybe 3 hackers this patch (with a few sketchy folks thrown in that I like to give the benefit of the doubt). It is certainly a drag, but I don't think it's as rampant as some make it out to be. That said, I do hope that they go to a third party at some point because doing in-house anti-cheat almost never works and it's a huge waste of development time. Nikiboi seemed pretty confident in their ability on the podcast today though.

Just ran into a speed hacker. Watch out for this guy if you see him in the lobby.

Klean seems to have taken an effort to try and fight the problem while BSG attempts to find a fix to the hacking problem. In the Black Site discord server, Klean has set up a chat where people can report with video evidence of cheaters and he sends their names to Battlestate to be banned. A band-aid to a major problem, I know. But for now it seems all Tarkov has. For now, anyway.

the latest feed from BSG states that they are going to implement a better Anti Cheat for .9 patch. Soooooo hopefully, we will see less hackers and more successful raids. Havn't played in several days due to work and getting back into Squad but it seems like every other game or team wipes to a hacker.

I havent seen too many hackers lately, but now that you mention it, I think I ran into a speed hacker last night. Was surprised that he ran from my left side to my right and shot me once. All within less than a second. Now this puts logic behind it.

nail on the head. @Com}{rade I'll be copying and pasting this response in the future for people disgruntled at eft hacker situation

Hackers a major issue at the moment.  EFT is still fun thou. I have started taking lower valued kits in. Hackers seem to leave me alone a lot more. If I take m1a1 I die in 30 secs at the spawn in interchange. (as i play on EU servers maybe EU players are cheaters more often)
