    EFT - Game Guide

Escape From Tarkov - General Guide Hello all, I’m proud to introduce to you my EFT guide. This guide focuses on strategies and tips to improve your gameplay. The guide is split into 5 parts, but has been designed to allow you to easily switch from one topic to another. If you’re a TL;DR kind of person, simply find the section that you need. I’ve put down the best of my knowledge in this guide. Should you feel that I’ve either left something important out, or that there’s something incorrect in the guide, you can contact me through the EFT Forums or UWS Forums. Separate from the guide itself, I’ve also put together some reference sheets to help with quick questions such as “What’s the best ammo for the AK?” or “What does this key go to?”. Enjoy the guide, and if you’ve found it to be useful leave a comment down below. Donations are always welcome too. Thanks, - Tax You can get the guide and reference sheets using the links below. Reference Spreadsheet EFT – New Players Guide v1b.pdf For those of you who want to donate, it's much appreciated but by no means a requirement. These donations go to me (Tax) to help with my basic M4 expenses and pay my computer rats their cheese salary. If you'd like to donate to UWS, go to our homepage and look for the donation link there. Good hunting! Donate Here
  2. So I am writing this post as a way for me to get some stuff out there. Being a first wave Alpha member and supporting this game from the beginning, has shown some amazing differences as the game becomes more open and popular. Currently the state of the game in my opinion, and I seriously made my opinion, is that size our clan for the most part, it's very toxic. Developers talking down to their own players and the occasional argument and white knighting for a company that has given you nothing. The reason I say this is not as some entitled brat, but someone who submitted thousands of reports and constantly stayed in contact with the developers of the game to help with bugs. Currently I am saddened with how the game is. It's mostly a grindfest, with the people knowing the exploits and abusing game mechanics that were not meant for certain purposes, as well as people who can afford to spend 8 hours at a time, to just get a little bit further. This bothers me as last patch, we had our problems but at the same time we were not choked down on the XP. I did not buy this game to buy an MMO, I do not have the time to work a full-time job to come home, like most of you to play for 3 hours and barely make 2% of a progress towards my goal. On top of this it really discourages me when I see people defending lies that the developers post about. If you want information you can go to the website. Look at The Hideout, the other half of Shoreline, the 70 plus new weapons, dear, and whatever else they had planned, was scrapped until the end of the year. I understand you may read this and think, wow this dude is going to put all that work in just a bit about this game and it's not even in beta. You want to know something? This game is way Beyond beta, from sources and close friends that work with the Developers, maps and modules are near complete. Weapons, game mechanics, gear, along with The Hideout and other maps are mostly completed. I hate to give bigfry any credit, but he's right, it seems like they're raking in a lot of money as they can, this game is not a beta or an alpha at this point. What the amount of content I have seen Jess from Facebook and YouTube and from the developers publicly released, don't try to tell me that they do not have the ability to do more updates. Most of us first wave Alpha members or getting sick of the wipes and just want content and to explore. I'm sorry for the rant but I needed to get it off my chest. Why should we be happy with this when this is not what we paid for or what we were told. I would love to know what you think what your suggestions would be for the game, and what other things you believe should already be in? One thing I would like to point out is that I wrote about 8 paragraphs on the official escape from tarkov forum, detailing how medical mechanics should work, if a bunch of ideas of how to implement it in different ways, skill level to the type of medication whether that be American European or Russian, and it was taken with appraisal. However I have seen nothing on that front which is why I have been glad to make this post here. As a community that I care about I can post here without being ridiculed or having a moderator band me for speaking my mind.
